The skills acquisition training was held on the 21st-23rd February 2024 at Tse -Apir Village of Makurdi LGA. The training was conducted by WOHEPI through the support of OKIDO Consult. A total of 15 beneficiaries were trained. 4 in soap making and Vaseline, 6 were trained in making doughnuts, buns, chin chin, puff puff and peppering of meat and eggs. The remaining 3 were taken through business management. The women were also taught how to set up a Voluntary Loan Savings Association (VLSA) Outcome: -All the beneficiaries acquired skills in soap making, Vaseline, baking and business management. - provision of starter packs to all the beneficiaries, this was inform of materials to commence business. - Financial inclusion; a voluntary loan saving association has been setup for the group for fund revolving.
