Gernah Joyce Mbatimbir is a veteran Nurse, Midwife and Public Health Manager who has committed over 45 years of excellent service to personal and professional growth in the public health care administration setting.
With over 30 years of diligent work put into civil service providing foundational care, coordinating Local Government Health Care Delivery and another 15 years put into private practice partnering with the Government and numerous Non-Governmental-Organizations training nurses and midwives, performing risk management, mentoring teams and developing programs that drive change process and quality improvement within the public health sector, Gernah has repositioned herself as an indispensable wealth of experience in public health care concerns.
She has an extensive career long educational background in Nursing, Midwifery and Public Health Administration covering numerous advance national diplomas and a second degree in peace and conflict resolution.
Her pace setting approach to public health care administration in her time as Head of Department Health - Gboko LGA, Head of Department Health - Gwer LGA and Head of primary health care unit - Local Government Service Commission has earned her state and nation-wide recognition.
